Francophonie Days in The Landmark Baku

The Landmark Baku will host next “Francophonie Weeks in Azerbaijan 2018” starting from April 1 to April 14. The days of French language and culture are annual spring event in Azerbaijan that brings French-speaking people together. The Embassies of Belgium, France, Moldova, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Morocco, Mexico, Romania , Switzerland  and the EU representation will jointly celebrate French language and Francophonie holiday in Baku.

Within the framework of the traditional Francophonie Weeks, various events will be organized in The Landmark Baku, including “TINTIN NIGHT” organized by the Embassy of Belgium, screenings of films in French, International Youth Chess Championship, Closing Ceremony of Francophonie Weeks.

FRANCOPHONIE FILM FESTIVAL

On the occasion of the Weeks of La Francophonie (April 1-14, 2018), eight films will be screened as part of the Francophone Film Festival (April 3-8). Proposed by the embassies of France, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Morocco, Mexico and the Delegation of the European Union in Azerbaijan, these films illustrate the diversity of cinematographic creation in the French-speaking world.
