In the framework of Francophonie Weeks in Azerbaijan, for the first time in Baku was held Maalem Houssam Gania Band concert organized by Moroccan Embassy in Baku.
Maalem Houssam Gania is one of the most important band playing "Gania" music in Morocco. Originally from Guinea and Ghana, Gnawa music has evolved to give birth to a typical Moroccan style, where song, dance and spiritual incantation are accompanied by extraodinary sounds coming from unique instruments.
The concert took place on the ground floor of The Landmark II Business Center, at the Salo Restaurant.
