On April 15, The Landmark has hosted the closing ceremony of the Weeks of Francophonie Baku, 2019. The ceremony took part on the 20th floor of the Landmark hotel, where you can face the enchanting top view of the city and sea.


French Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Aurelia Bouchez addressing the event expressed her gratitude to the all guests and partners for their assistance and support.

After the welcoming speech the winners of various contests and quizzes, which took part within Francophonie weeks were awarded with various prizes and certification.

Throughout the closing ceremony French-speaking countries participating in the Francophonie weeks presented the various gastronomical delights, authentic culinary and the variety of drinks-including Moroccan green tea, Mexican tequila and Black Balsam-unique Latvian beverage to the guests of the event.

And the music program, performed during the event gave a special atmosphere to the evening.


Weeks of Francophonie 2019 were held in Baku from March 30 to April 15 with the participation of the embassies of France, Belgium, Costa Rica, Greece, Hungary, Morocco, Mexico, Moldova, Romania, Switzerland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia in Azerbaijan, as well as the representative office of the European Union.
